I didn't play high school football..... I was on the wrestling team at Johnson Central (112 lbs. of Terror)
And I know there are matches I would love to have back and get one more shot at.
So let's hear it...... You have the chance to borrow Dr. Emmitt Brown's DeLorean time machine.
When, Where, Against Who & What was the play you would love to have another shot at?

As a player:
I moved around a lot as a kid so I didn't feel comfortable playing High School Ball, felt I had way less experience than everyone else(big regret), my experience as a player stopped after 8th grade. However in 8th grade I was a new kid on the team (Runyon Elem a Belfry Feeder) from out of town who had played mostly Right Guard at my previous school (Garrison Elem a Lewis Co Feeder). The coaches at Runyon felt I was better suited on d-line but the transition was slow (the new kid got limited reps). So I was excited during a game against Blackberry Elem to be put in at DE on a 3rd and 6, a good series could find me getting more playing time. Blackberry snapped the ball, I shed my blocker with ease and had a bee line for the QB. He was mine. Ball went into the gut of the Tailback, I hesitated for a split second. Saw the ball coming out of the gut on the fake, continued pursuit of the QB. That split second cost me, QB hit the Tailback on a screen that he took 60+ to the house and I drilled the QB in what would today be a late hit penalty. That split second killed my confidence, my chances to play as the new kid decreased, the easy block shed or penetration didn't matter, I allowed the score (at least in my eyes) and nothing could undo that. I finished the season filling in on the o-line late in games. I felt there was no way I could hang with the might Belfry Pirates after an 8th grade season like that. I spent the next four years in high school hearing "Why don't you play, you need to be a LB or DE" secretly I missed the game more than anyone could imagine but that one play destroyed me ever taking the chance.
As a fan:
Pick one, the 1998 Sheldon Clark crawl play or the 2012 OT Pitch debacle in the state title game that last time Belfry lost to Central.

Mine wasn't a snap, at least not in most people's terms. Mine was a kickoff in the state quaterfinals of 2006. Put simply, I nearly ran over a ref and ended up tearing my ankle to pieces to avoid him. I had it taped up and went back in the next play. I still flew around as much as I could and made some great plays. We won the game but the next week it came back to bite me hard. The adrenaline wore off and I could barely walk. I still practiced and played as hard as I could but I wasn't anywhere near 100%. We ended up losing in the semifinals.
