Regional favorites for next year
#31
Exactly who did you hear that was leaving Trinity? Stafford, Murphy and Ramser are catholic system kids and wont leave. Thieneman's father played at Trinity and he wont leave. Levitch is not going anywhere. I guess you are implying that Spalding is leaving?

I have to go with Clay Co. In the 13th With their trio of Smith, Wolfe and Farmer
Knott in the 14th with Buckhorn being in the mix next season

The 14th will be competitive as always. Knott has to be the favorite and you can count on Hazard and Perry fielding a nice team (the latter probably consisting of out-of-state transfers). However, don't count out Buckhorn. They are my sleeper pick.

With JC winning three in a row and returning basically everyone minus McPeek, Shane, and Mckenzie you would think they would be the favorite until someone knocks em off

J C will be right in the mix. Top 3 in the 15th JC--SC- SV

LC has got to be the favorite in The 15th no matter who comes in to coach. JC they are always there with Gullet who in my opinion the best player in the Region this past season and again this coming season. Any team can be beat on any given night but these two stand out the most.

I agree will all that LC has returning they have to be in the mix. Johnson Central is going to be good still as well.

bobcats#1fan Wrote:15th- Betsy Layne returns almost everyone from a 26-6 team! Remember Lawrence Co. Gm was a 1 pt gm at half. Case will be best player in region also.
Lawrence, JC, BL, and Paintsville with injured players back top 4 IMO .

Those 26 wins included Piarist 3 games, South Floyd 3 games, Jenkins, Allen Central, and Fairview.

Not sure Hicks is a difference maker. Last year when Carr went out with injury they looked like the same average Valley team. Now with him and the big Bell or Beller kid leaving I'm not sure they will do much. I do hear he is an excellent recruiter though so maybe we can see some new faces that will give them a boost. Either way I'm not a fan of yelling and screaming and attention getting he does.

Garrisson Rosser of Logan Co. is one of the Top PG in the state. Flying under the radar but listen for his name alot this season and next as he is only a Jr.

Williamsburg will start 6ft 3 Fred Massey 6ft5 Andrew Griffith 6ft2 Skylor Griffin
6ft2 cory Shelton 6ft Chase Lowery
#45
They have A couple of transfers one is 6ft7 and one is6ft6 not sure of their ability,

The 16th Region should be a tossup. There are really no good teams in the region. Since the doctor retired, I don't think Ashland will be a factor because there is not much prospect of help from Huntington, etc. and the Rose Hill cupboard is permanently empty.

13th will be knox or clay
