BGR,
On Feb. 7th my best friend of 12 years "moved up" to be with our Father in heaven unexpectedly due to a heart attack. These last couple weeks have been some of the most difficult yet rewarding I've experienced in walking Gods good earth these last 41 years. The following feedback is motivated by the loss of a good man.
One, have your affairs in order and communicate to friends, loved ones, and others that God forbid if anything happens and God calls you sooner than expected...here's how you want things to go down: cremation, burial, music, party, wake, pictures, what cemetary, who next to, what location to spread ashes, etc?.....However morbid this may be to you, guess what? your loved ones will already be freaking out over your unexpected departure...if your final arrangements are mapped out they can focus on what's important, mourning and grieving your exit from the earth plain.
In the meantime, here's a thought, lot less crap food and more healthy. Seems easy enough but no. Too many of us justify eating crap foods vs. those that enable taking care of grandchildren in our futures.
Without the Lord I shaved years of life off my journey. With God I may enjoy being a grandfather.
I tell you that to tell you this...be mindful of your attitude, actions, and self-preservation for the betterment of God...if you are right through him you will positively impact many.
Through the tragedy that was the unexpected loss of my friend I'm mourning, grieving, and making peace...as well as honoring God and ideally blessing you all in the meantime.
Live well and God bless you
In your free time check church101 and sermon threads...they're about honoring God and becoming holy spirit filled which ultimately is the true championship in our journeys!

Thanks for being an amazing friend and I'm confident Gods grace will bless you as you enjoy the skybox seats with other family, friends, and loved ones who "moved up" before you...
Enjoy debating with Custer and Patton, giving Woody shit for hitting a clemson player, and checking Cy Young for being a douche....love you brother, until we meet again!
