All I'm saying is, if someone decides to transfer even for basketball reasons they should be allowed.
i understand both sides of the argument. It's not the kid's fault if he/she doesn't like their school's basketball program. However, the KHSAA doesn't want high school coaches recruiting kids that are already in high school. which happens when a coach goes to another school.

Congrats to the Johnson kid. I think its good for the state, the 14th region, and PCC. If the kid is a.s good as they say he is people need to see him play

If an athlete is determined enough that he and his family actually move there really isn't no reason to stop them. This is America. Peace be among us. Brother Cecil.

The KHSAA is a joke when it comes to eligibilty issues as they pick and chose who they rule eligible. Johson will be the third option behind beverly and cornettee. Yes Sheldon Clark has gooten them a alot better coach and have kids that want to here instead of leaving with a guy that his only goal at Sheldon Ckark was to destory the program. Spurlock should be the one to have been punished by the KHSAA but we are glad both are gone for now we have a top notch coach and fan support. The team may not win the reion but at least they have kids that play hard for 32 minutes a game and rtepresent the school and comminity with class.

I'll say that by what u just said about being happy Johnson is gone is prob one of the main reasons he isn't there. Say what u will about Coach Spurlock because I'm sure he can defend himself but to say that about a 16 yr old kid is just stupid. Me and u both could only hope our kids are have the person he is. Screw the bball, he is flat out a GREAT kid!!!! I'm sure see why he is so happy here now!! He doesn't need to be around negative ppl who say things like this!!!!

Glad to see this happen.
Perry Central never gets a break. They often have recruits turned down by the khsaa.
Finally.
:hilarious:
How about we play with what we got.

Oh no...
we better get rid of him at Perry...
Why would we hire a guy that only wanted to destroy his last school's program?
:problem:

OK, LOL, I didn't know Sheldon Clark was a great program before Spurlock... Didn't Spurlock have the most wins in a season at Sheldon Clark in School History?
In 2009 SC was 11-17 and 2010 was 15-13... Spurlock was 17-12 and 26-7.... Looks like the program was getting better...

It almost sounds like they ran Johnson and Spurlock off to listen to some of their fans. Peace be among us. Brother Cecil.

Let them play Knott County is the defending 14th regional champs, Its hard to repeat and Hazard Perry Letcher Cordia Breathitt all have a chance. The kid at Cordia should also be elgiable this week that makes them a very good team Knott beat them just 10 at Knott earlier. And maybe soon the other kid at Cordia will be elgiable and that makes them a contender for the regional title. Perry will be a hard out the district at Perry and regional at Letcher Cent Perry playes the best schedule and by years end I believe will be better than last years team. Big AL at Hazard will be a hard out if Holland can come back and play well most atlectic team in the region. Knott Co only playes 6 to 7 players has good talent and should be a hard out. Cordia with the 2 new kids will be a hard out if Rhodes can hold them togather. Breathitt is missing a big man and has a few players hurt by years end Fugate will have this team ready to play. Knott will have issues if Perry and Hazard drawes opposite of each other. My thoughts.

Hazard comes the closest to matching up inside. The loss of Hollan hurts them at the guard position. Depends a lot on his rehabilitation. I think it will be interesting. Peace be among us. Cordia with all players eligible will have 6'4-6'5-6'8 at the 3,4,and5 positions. I think that's bit bigger then Hazard. Just sayin.

All players have to get eligible first....
Just rumor, but I heard yesterday Cordia boys are going to be ruled ineligible but not official, just a rumor right now....

^heard the same thing last night and was told by it was false after asking members of the ball team. But you are right they must get eligible first. Would they have the biggest inside presence in the region though?

Hahaha! Might as well let all transfers play if they'd let this one go.

All I can say is the truth. Spurlock had two of the top players in the 15th region Johnson and BJ Moore and could not WIN the region. After talking to people from Sheldon Clark it was the way he handled the program and players. In 2 years he ran a bunch of players off who could have helped. Rumor had it at one time last year even Johnson wanted to leave but I guess they made up. My point is mark it down now PCC will not win the region.
