Eighth Region

North Oldham is building for the future with six freshmen and eighth-graders in the lineup and new coach Mike Jolly. The top players should be freshman pitcher Sam Maiocco, senior shortstop Veronica Hornback and third baseman Kim Roberts.

Oldham
County (27-9 last year) has high expectations with eight of 10 starters back. Look for Tori Silcox (.424) to hit well again.

Collins only lost one from last season and South Oldham returns everyone. Both teams should have good seasons. Walton-Verona also returns most of their players.
