Just something to add. While at Rupp Saturday, I heard something cool regarding EJ. Clem Haskins, for those who don't know Mr. Haskins, he was the best player to play for WKU, was the 3rd overall pick in '67 for the Chicago Bulls, played with the Suns and Bullets as well and had a long NBA career overall. He also coached Minnesota to the Final Four in '97. Anyway, Clem said that EJ was one of the greatest basketball players he has ever watched in his life. He said that Elisha could play for any college team in America, he is that good. I just thought that was cool of him to say that!

I was also told that Joe B Hall said some similiar statements on the radio in Lexington. He said no way Justice should have to walk on anywhere.

Elisha has to feel good about all of the compliments and awards that are being showered down on him at the moment. What really has to feel good is the MVP award of the 2010 Sweet 16. He knows now deep in his heart he has the ability to play anywhere he wants, he also knows he may not start right away at a big school but looking ahead to what he want to do as a profession, to be a coach, he is going to learn under a master at Louisville. I would love for him to be a walk-on at UK but I am sure EJ will make the correct decision for him. He knows how iimportant his coaches, Randy Davis, Greg Newsome, and Jason Booher were to him and he would like to be like his mentors. I have probably left out some people that helped him be the young man he has become, probably his family had somethlng to do with it also and his christian belief. Good luck Elilsha, you have made a lot of EKY people happy and proud! GO 'BULLET'

Amen. You said it Dortonite. There is a reason for EJ doing this. It will be impressive to put on a resume while looking for a high school teaching/coaching job that the interviewer can call and speak with Coach Pitino for reference. Not many individuals are blessed to do that. That is great.

In all honesty this team is a little like Elisha, honest, moral, hard working, Christian men that rely on each other and God. They has went out and proved everyone wrong and Elisha has shown the biggest heart for anyone I have seen. I love this team and all of those guys but Elisha is something special and should not settle for a walk on situation, even if it is at UK (that hurts). I would love to see that when the time comes, Cal will come in a get a hard working Ky boy like him.

Guys after watching this kid play basketball for the last several years he is way to competitive to go down there to learn to coach. I believe he will go and work his tail off and exceed all of our expectations as a college basketball player. Dont write him off as Steve Masiello just yet...I get a feeling he is not finished.

I know one thing, If im ever lucky to have a kid in the future. I sure would be happy with Elisha coaching him!!

EJ will forever be mentioned with the greats of the 15th region. Any doubters do not have a leg to stand on. He has the stats, the team trophies, the intangibles, and soon, IMO, Mr. Basketball.

Elisha is no doubt on the the best the 15th has had, and yes he can play Div1.... There are over 100 Div1 colleges that could use his services..........

i believe that as well. with his mind set and work ethic he can be all he wants to be. he is a great player and person as well. he will get even better at the next level, yeah i know that doesn't seem possible but it's true. if this kid wants to play in the NBA after college he will he is just that focused and determined.
