I do know that Kayla Parsley came back today which was a big help at center.

Russell Girls won I heard Coach Kidwell comment on it. Did not hear the score however. Also Russell's announcers are saying the score was 48-42. But good win after losing 9 of last 11 including a 35 point loss to Ashland. I think who ever wins the game Tues. between Russell and Elliott will have aa shot at winning the All A. I know Fairview is out there but it is just a feeling.

Russell will be playing Elliott they beat West 69-57.

Why is Russell playing in the All "A"???? All " A" I thought it meant single A schools only ????? Some one correct me on this. Anyway congrats to Russell.

I guess Russell lost a big class of kids to graduation ans had a small class of freshmen coming in. That put them at least for this year meeting the criteria as far as number of students 9-12. But next year who knows they might be to big.

Congrats Russell

Russell's girls won 46-42.

Russell should win. They have 649 students compared to Racelands 312. I guess Russell can't beat the big boys, so they drop down to beat the smaller schools. As I said before, this is no longer an All A tourney for the small schools. It's a money maker, and nothing else.

Football on the other hand, you can play all the bigger schools by choice and it's okay and you guys are up for that. Basketball is another story. You are disenfranchised by those mean old bigger schools who have invaded your tournament. By the way, perhaps you should re-examine your own numbers.

The name of the tournament needs to be changed from the all A and called the smallest 125 schools in the state. There is probably 40 schools that play that dont fit the requirement for class A for Football. The tournament really has nothing to do with what it was originally intended for JMO.

Russell is probably the favorite. I know Menifee beat Fairview and Bath beat Rose Hill. Parsley should get them over the top. No matter who wins I wouldn't expect them to last too long at the state tournament, 16th region small schools are down this year for sure.

I think Elliott should be tough to beat, Knipp top player left in the tournament, maybe the best in the region. Fairview has the most talent but not consistent night in and night out, very hard team to read.

^ Agreed, EC still has to be the favorite until Fairview beats them
