Just got back from the Reds game. Even though they lost, it was pretty cool. I got to see the most powerful man in the world (even though I wouldn't vote for him if a gun was held to my head). The coolest thing was seeing all the SWAT guys, secret service, and snipers (yes, snipers) around the ball park. The most noticeable were 3 standing on top of the batter's eye in center field constantly eyeing the ball park and looking across the river.

I was fortunate enough to sit beside a Cincy police officer and a member of the secret service. With all the snipers, etc, it was the safest I felt in my life.

Awesome pictures, what kind of camera do you use?

I have a Panasonic 5 mega-pixel digital camera with 12x optical zoom. It's great outdoors. Indoors is a little questionable. But with good lighting it's great.

I must add that this wasn't even on the highest resolution.

The guy that owns the Reds now used to own the Rangers with Bush, therefore, that connection helped to bring him the Cincy I believe.

Cool pictures though! I bet it was neat to see all the agents there. I heard on TV that they had tarps up on the upper deck to keep the people from the outside seeing in.

This was my first opening day game and the experience overall was great. I stayed in a hotel downtown and a lot of secret service and the military explosives division were staying there as well as a few Reds players. Everyone was really friendly and great to talk to. However, this was the coldest sporting event I have ever been to. We were not prepared for the cold at all and only made it through the 6th inning before we left.
