I read that D SMITH All Stars are 3 - 0 in pool play and beat highly recruited Tobias Harris team. They play Chris Pauls team this evening. Someone on another site says that E Justice has held his own against very good competition. Anyone have any info on Jutice is doing?

I continue to be impressed with Derek Smith All-Stars point man Elisha Justice. Scouts want to knock him on his size at 5’8 but the kid can flat out play. He may not overwhelm you scoring the ball but he does everything you need him to do. His handle is very tight and he can defend. It looks like he added 10 pounds of muscle to an already strong and quick frame. Justice is also a good leaper at his size and can really elevate to hit his pull-up jumper. Morehead St. is definitely in the mix for this kid, other D1’s should take notice.

Thanks for the link Jim. His size and being a mountain player always causes people to doubt but the kid can flat out play.

I saw where the Firebirds finished 11th by forefit at the Div II nationals. They were the only KY team to play Division II.
Congratulations to all the players and coaches!

Thats pretty impressive considering they were also missing Tyler Grubbs 6'6 280 Center and George Grote 6'1 200 guard. You need a solid Big Man at Nationals and most of the lineup I saw seemed to be a bunch of guards/Swing Forwards and no true Center but still very impressive.
