LIPS Wrote:Congrats AC....this game is proof that pburg has just one player and when you shut that player down then the team goes with it...ac did a good job defending pburg's guards and totally outplayed pburg....and believe me the refs did make bad calls but it went both ways so please guys dont use that excuse.AC didnt shut down Pburgs guards at all, they just couldnt hit an open shot like they normally do and also shot poorly from the line.

Burchett, 22 points/9 rebounds/nice all around game for the Blackcats

Prestonsburg 7-21 from the FT line. Allen Central 7-9 from the line.
Looks like the underclassmen from both AC and Pburg are stepping up this year. Congrats to Burchett and the Crowders on a fine performances in last nights game.

Here is the problem with Prestonsburg.......coaching. This has been a problem for years. The entire athletics department needs to be cleaned out at Prestonsburg and be rearranged. P-burg needs Jack Pack to coach the Boys. Let Jackie Day coach the girls. And hire anybody from the stands to coach the football team cuz God knows anyone around here could do better with the talent they have had. Until changes are made, Prestonsburg will not compete on a regular basis at anything.
