So the Tennessee State Tigers will be rolling into town this Saturday October 7. Game time is set for 6 pm. The Tigers come into the game with a 3-2 record and riding a two game losing streak. Their wins have come against Georgia State (17-10), Jackson State (17-15), and Florida A&M (24-13). Their losses have come against UT Martin (16-31) and Eastern Illinois (16-19) in double overtime. The Colonels lead the all-time series 23-6. The Colonels lead the series this century 13-4. Tennessee State won last year's game 28-35. The Colonels last defeated the Tigers in 2015 (45-21).

What do the Colonels need to do to get the victory? What are your thoughts and predictions?

They have to establish some sort of short passing game to keep the other teams from loading the box and blitzing every time. If you can get them to back off then you can establish a run game and open up this offense. There is a lot of horsepower under the hood, but we have to figure out how to get it down the track!
