If the Lone Oak vs Boyle game had not happened you would have to put Bell County vs. Boyle in 4A.

The Bell @ Boyle game was awesome, but that game was expected to be a good one. I don't think anyone thought LO would come out on a mission like they did. Boyle had to step up the D, but they did pull off the biggest win of the year!! Wow, What a game!!!!

Need to add the Bell County vs. Boyle County in the Class 4A State Semi-finals at Boyle County. If it wasn't for Bell County and Boyle County, Lone Oak might of Beat Boyle County.

I read that was an awesome game, but we've also got to consider the Lone Oak vs Lex. Cath game that went 52-49 OT. What a pulse pounder for LO fans! Plus, that game had a whole lot of symbolism in it, probably more than most any game for any team that season (except for perhaps Highland's win over Cinc. St. X). It effectively served multiple purposes for us LO fans:
1.) It gave us MAJOR payback from two years ago...if you think that Boyle's payback against Bell was sweet, think about getting THRASHED in a state final and then coming back and reclaiming the win! It was a great breath of fresh air.
2.) This game single handedly put LO on the map. NOBODY knew how good we were, ourselves included. I remember being at school and telling people how much I would probably end up loathing the matchup, just because I felt like an inevitable repeat of two years ago. I'm not sure if I've ever been so happy to be wrong. Although we still had alot of doubters, nobody could doubt that Lone Oak was a team to be reckoned with from that game on.
3.) This game gave every LO fan out there hope and confidence this season, which we continued to kindle with all the way to state. After we beat Lexington Catholic, we knew, deep inside, that there was actually a chance at bringing home the title from Bowling Green. And we almost succeeded.
But, then again, I of course didn't witness the Bell-Boyle showdown, and believe that it must have been a killer game, but the LO-LC game was tough to beat when it comes to raising heart rates, and due to its symbolism I'm giving it a slight edge.
Of course, I still regard the title match as the best game of the year period in Kentucky football, though I wasn't so pleased with the outcome.

The two best games that I saw all year were:
1) Boyle County 42 Lone Oak 39 in the 4A State Title game
2) Boyle County 13 Bell County 10 in the 4A semi finals
The state title game may have been the best game that I have ever seen (or is it saw?) at any level.

I was also confused. I think it might be time to implement a mandatory spell check, just for clarities sake.
