Jim Rose, one of the greatest basketball players in Hazard High School's history, died on Saturday in a Tennessee hospital. Few fans will ever forget his great effort against a much stronger and bigger Louisville Seneca team in the 1964 state semi-final game. Rose led Hazard to the Sweet 16 - three years in a row.
