Disappointed...
Lee fought back in regulation down 4 with under a minute to go and had a lead in overtime. Seems like they just got lost. Not a typical game from Aaron Charles who made several costly turnovers and Jared Pelphrey missing a wide open layup down the stretch didn't help the cause either. Great job to Shawnee for keeping their heads about them and hitting big freethrows in OT. Just seems that Lee can't get very many quality W's. They have won several in a row, but against Estill (good win), Powell (meh), Jackson County (nothing special), Riverside, and Jackson City. They need to play to their potential and win some of these competitive games. This would have been a great confidence boost for our boys, but they let it get away from them with, again, terrible shots and bad judgement too many times tonight.
By the way, district rival Estill may be without a couple of players for a game after a scuffle in their game.

Lee Co remains somewhat frustrated when playing against experienced teams (Shawnee won the 6th region All A a couple of weeks ago). They need to toughen up and play 110% till the horn sounds. They were out of the gate real well, leading 20-11 at the end of the first qtr.
I thought that the riot during the Estill vs Johnson Central game was more than a scuffle. Double ejections (2 from each team) , one of Estill's kids laid out.... two Johnson Central players injured in the game.... a double overtime.... it was a hard fought game. (JC won)

Well, I tried to be nice. lol. I definately got my money's worth at up in Jackson tonight.

From what I saw, the JC kid should be banned for the rest of the season. (I think his name is Ian Welch - # 25). He attacked Roberts, and this was not just pushing and shoving but looked like a blind-side punch followed by two or three punches to the head and face.
In fact, I think that charges should be brought against him for assault. fReform school or jail would do him good.

A sucker punch is when someone doesn't see it coming. The Roberts kid seen this coming right after the slap he gave Welch. Glad to hear the boy is ok .

First things Get well Kenton from Bobcat land. Seond, Lee must begin to show thier maturity. Easy inside baskets missed, bad shots, terrible passing, turnovers, it is now time for the Bobcats to step up and play to thier abilities. this is a great bunch of young men and it will be sad if they don't live up to thier potential. Lets begin with PCC this week and lets have a great playoff run.

Hope the player from Estill is well; and my best wishes to Estill team. I am sorry to hear of injuries and fights breaking out. I was not there, but I do want to send my well wishes out to Estill.
Disappointed to see the 'Cats lose again, but all streaks come to an end. Hopefully we can string together another win starting Tuesday. **Fingers Crossed** I won't be able to go, due to work, but I will be sending well wishes your way, Bobcats.
