Congrats Bell
Lawrence couldn't stop Bell at first. Then they played a great 2nd and 3rd quarter.

LC really did fight, but it was just an outmatched up front. They couldn’t really get to the edge without getting blown up for a 5 plus yard loss. I believe it was bell county’s best defense game plan of the season, and they performed on that side of the ball perfectly.
Bell cannot be stopped on the offensive side, this is the 5th straight game where the bobcats run the clock out in the opposing teams side of the field or they would have scored again. They were having a little trouble moving the ball in the late second quarter and third, so they went to the spread and weren’t stopped again. I think the 3rd and the 5th best teams in 3A play next week on log mountain, and the 1st and 2nd best teams in 3A play in louisville.
The dogs had athletes in some positions, and it was 20-0 very early which shows how much they fought. Respect their team but they are still far behind the top of 3A.

Our bread and butter is the pass and we just couldn't get anything going early. Carlo chiko played a great game, kj had a good game but wasn't targeted much for some odd reason ?

I have said this all season, but the two drives LC scored are, started in bell county territory… FROM KICK OFFS. Like I can honestly say Bell county has the best offense in 3A just how they can power it so much but actually have the killer air threat in burnett which was proven last night, but that defense is definitely getting over looked. I mean not many teams drive the length of the field on this bunch, but Dudley’s special teams unit or mindset whatever will lose them one of the next two games. If lex cath starts on Bell county’s 45 yard line every drive, compared to Bell on their own twenty, it will be a long night. THEY HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT IT IS SO BAD.
