Lee Plans To Enter NBA Draft
#1
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky forward Marcus Lee told ESPN that his plan is to enter the NBA draft.

“I haven’t hired an agent, because I want to keep my eligibility just in case I decide to come back,” Lee told Jeff Goodman. “My plan is to go to the NBA. That’s the only goal.”

Jamal Murray, Tyler Ulis and Skal Labissiere have announced they will not return to UK.

“I want people to know I’m serious about this,” Lee told Goodman. “I’ve talked to Coach Cal about this, and he definitely understands that I’m going to the NBA this year.”

Lee was a McDonald’s All-American coming out of Deer Valley High School in Antioch, Calif. He averaged 6.4 points, 6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game this past season.

Lee is projected as a second-round pick.

Seems like a ridiculous decision but if it makes room for Bolden then I'm all for it.

Seems like a great kid and wish him the best but if we miss on Bolden we may need him...Lets hope this pushes Bolden our way...

I would like to see Bolden and Lee on the team next season Smile

From how the combine went for him, and with what all the scouts are saying, Lee is no where near being a NBA talent. Even if he dose come back to UK for one more season he will never play in the NBA. But he will still make a nice living playing overseas.
