Congratulations Bulldogs on a great game. Justin Hicks was red hot and popped off 3's the whole night. The game was close and tied several times but the Dawgs kept a small lead for most of the game and managed to pull away at the end. Good game Dores. I'm already looking forward to seeing these 2 great teams meet on January 18th at Historic Memorial Gymnasium.

All i gotta say is J Hicks is the 'MAN'. The whole team played pretty good, matt williams played really good D. The dores played around 3 quarters of good ball and then they just gave up. Cant wait till the next PCC hazar game. I LOVE IT

It should be put to rest and a new facility built. Surely Hazard with their storied history, can do that. You can only live in the past so long. No parking, a steep hill to climb, commodes that only flush occasionally, mildew smell, out of date dressing rooms, all adds up to a hysterical gym, rather than historical.

Have you even been in Memorial Gym lately? The restrooms have been completely redone and when Hazard hosted the regional several of the coaches said those were the cleanest dressing rooms they had been in. I admit it could use more parking but I don't mind walking up the hill...exercise is good for you.
Memorial Gym was built as a memorial to the Hazard and Perry Co. servicemen who gave their lives in WWII. When you call Memorial Gym hysterical you are insulting all those brave men who paid the ultimate price so that you can get on this message board and have your say. We are proud of Historic Memorial Gym and with good reason. Besides, I believe the topic of this thread is the Hazard and Perry Central game, not Memorial Gym.

However you were the one who made a comment about the gym, and I was giving my opinion as well on an opinion board.

I was commenting on a building. Don't twist that to say I am dishonoring our servicemen. I would never do that. Memorial Gym is old and outdated for a school with the basketball tradition of the Hazard Bulldogs. Memorial Coluseum in Lexington is also a memorial to our servicemen, but UK doesn't play there anymore. They updated to Rupp.
BTW, big win for Hazard on the road. They could possibly be the best in the region again this year.

I'm not real familiar with PCC's team but I would have to say that 2 of their key players would be Tyler Bailey and Justin Stacy.
