Winter Weather

With the major storm imapacting the midwest and northeastern states today with huge amounts of rain,wind, snow, ice and severe thunderstorms. I was wondering how everyone was doing across the state? I know here in Richmond the wind is horrible...it's making stop signs look like pieces of papaer on a stick with the way they are waving back and forth.

Do any of you all think we will get any snow this winter? My mom said that according to the farmers almanac this is suppose to be the worst winter in 30 years.

Personally, I hope it snows and snows and snows!!!!

Here in Richmond the wind is horrible too. But to my suprise, I woke up this morning at 8:45 to beautiful 71 degree weather with highs today reaching around 73. Nice December day I must say so myself!!

I'm not sure of the temp. but it was pretty cold out today when I went outside for class here in Barbourville.

At 7:00 this morning it was warm but I was standing on the steps and the wind almost knocked me over... Yea the wind was that bad here in Somerset this morning!!

When i went to my 9:05 am class this morning the wind blew and almost knocked me into a parked car...Luckily I caught myself because I was sure to put a dent in it. It's cold here, around 34 degrees right now, it's expedted to fall to 24 degrees tonight.

Oh yeah I almost forgot...this morning after my class it was like 47 degress when i was leaving campus. By the time it took me to drive like 2 minutes to the apartment the temperaure dropped to around 36 degree... IN TWO MINUTES!!!!!

The weather is so unpredictable nowadays. One day it will be 70 degrees, and the next day it will be in the 30's with a 50% percent chance of snow. And let me tell ya my sinus's are not a big fan on the weather changing so much lately..lol

Amen Stat.... My sinus are driving me crazy!!! It has moved to my chest now and the coughing is worse!! UUGGGGGHHHHH..... I hate this up and down weather! and OH... I wish like heck we could get some snow too..... SNOW.... SNOW..... SNOW!!!!!

I know 15th... it was like 17 degrees when I went to my 9:05 class this morning
