Heard game was close than score is indicating SW won it at the FT line. I also heard that SW, pressed south with 1 min to go to try and run score up :lame: South Laurels former coach wanted to build larger score margin to look dominate? SW coach and his team received 2 technical fouls showing them being bothered by South's hard play.
South was still without their two inside players.

I thought about that all nite. I too thought that may have been the case but after thinking about it the game wasnt over. Two 3's by south and and couple missed fts by sw and south tie the game. With grubb on the court for south I wouldnt have felt safe either especially with sw already missed 15 fts in the game. South played one heck of a ball game. I thought when sw won 2nd q 28-11 to go up 10 at half it was over. SW could never put them away.

SW on any given night is as good as anyone in the state. Then on any other given night could lose to 4 or 5 teams in the 12th.

The 13th is like that, too. Wide opened!! I kinda like that there isn't a clear front runner; makes for better games.

I wound say that about a few 13th region teams...

That's going to be a great district. Two good teams won't even make the regional tournament!

I am not sure on the time but I think grubb fouled out with about 30 sec left. They still had miller, phelps and inserted sanders that can fill it up. They had shooters on the floor just not experience shooters but heck we talking about a 6 pt game with a min to go. Its not near over. I will say the last basket by sw was not needed but it did pad my boys stats a little. lol He needed it. lol

Whatever the thinking on it was the truth of the matter is sw needed every basket it could get cause south gave them all they wanted.

When he jumps strait up and down his stats are a lot better than when he jumps forwards and leans forwards. Sometimes its like he is aiming or guiding the ball instead of just letting it fly with confidence.
With that said I feel a bit foolish talking with you about shooting. Even though we both averaged 30 points a night in HS, yours was in the game and mine came during warm ups.

Thats funny. The one three he missed sat night he jumped 2 foot forward and seem to have a forward lean to it. I mentioned it to him. He works hard on his shot. He just aint a natural shooter and thats fine just not something I am use to working on. I just caught it and slung it up. Never worked on any form etc lol

I dont know his fg percentage but even with saying he aint a natural shooter I bet he still 50 percent from 3 on the year. Shot it pretty well so far but I do agree with everything you said about his shot. He aint no where near the confident player he was a couple years ago.

South was without both starting bigs, including 6'8 Caleb Taylor. With him and zach Allen in this game, south wins.

Merry Christmas to all

Put Roscoe on either sideline and that team wins by 20.

Good win for Peytons Army. SW looking sharp so far.
