They can suspend the game and finish later. Raceland @ East Carter started stopped started suspended till tonight at 730. Not sure if that's what happened with your game or not.

My cousin is a coach at Jenkins. I talked to him last night and if I understood him correctly, the game is going in the books as a tie. I could be wrong though.

Ekb sports reported last night it would go down as a tie. Both teams begin season 0-0-1.

I did the broadcast for EKB last night. The game was halted due to severe lightning . We got 1 half of action in . It began lightning just prior to the second half kick. Both coaches agreed that if they couldn't resume the game that it go down as a scoreless tie. Both teams are 0-0-1.

They were 9 fumbles in the game. Jenkins lost two fumbles inside the Phelps 10 yd line. The field was drenched due to a downpour prior to game time .
