'The Voice' takes heat for dropping the word 'Lord' from popular church song

.....Will The Circle Be Unbroken, by and by LORD by and by. There's a better home awaiting, in the sky LORD in the sky......

Why would people sing a CHURCH song.... and leave the LORD out?

The song is about a person dying.... Yes, dying.

The "Circle" is meaning the family circle. They are hoping their entire family makes it to Heaven.

Nobody is going to make it in to Heaven with out the Lord. Sorry if you don't wanna hear that, but it's the truth.

What a disgrace that our world has come down to this. I can't not believe that it's come so politically incorrect to say LORD. This just makes me sick to think of this.

Wowwwwww, this is ridiculous!

My wife and I are fans of the show and caught this as well. Needless to say are fandom has decreased since they caved to the PC pundits. Lord have mercy on them!

PC is flat out destroying our society.

I'm surprised they didn't change it to muhammad or buddha, since the liberals seem perfectly fine with making sure muslims and other faiths are able to have free speech.

What I don't get is if they chose a song and have to change the lyrics, then why not just pick a different song?
I don't trust words, I trust action...

Maybe because LORD isn't actually in the original song ????
