First business' to come to mind:
The Horse Industry
The Bourbon Industry
The Coal Industry ( don't forget, it keeps the lights on )
Any KY College or University...
And the small businesses that support the above! Thanks for employing so many...

No just the hundreds of coal barges I've seen on the Ohio River over the years, as well as, numerous friends who have worked at the power plants and for the utility giant, CG&E (Cincinnati Gas n Electric), which morphed into Cinergy, which is now Duke Energy.
I get a piece of paper in the mail once a month reminds me of the value of coal nicker:.
