I watched several games this weekend in paintsville and it's got me wondering if I have ever have known what the strike zone in softball was and what the pitchers and catchers are tring to do. I witnessed some of the most inconsistent calling I've ever seen . I'm not saying any of the games would have ended up different than they did but it a momentum changer in some situations . I wonder if the officials ever talk before these tournaments and discus the strike zone they are going to call by to be fair to all the teams .
