Final from PCC. Close game throughout with Letcher Central leading a large portion of the game including a seven point lead at halftime. Perry Central pulls it out in the end. Sets up for possibly a great rematch in the regional tournament on a neutral floor with different officials(Thank God). I was very proud of the Lady Cougars tonight as they played hard the whole game. With the injury to Vannah Breeding, they have to find more people to sub in and play. I think this proves that Perry Central is not a 20+ point better team then everyone in the region.

With the 10 point home court advantage Perry Central has I think Letcher did a fine job tonight. Two best players on the floor tonight, Rankin and Edlridge.

Ok first off any game in the 14th Kendall Noble plays in she is the best player on the floor hands down. Rankin & Edlridge are both fine players but Kendall has proven herself in big games her whole career. Noble makes everything so much easier for everyone else on her team it's not even funny.

Rankin was by far the x-factor for Perry Central tonight. Without her they would have got beat 10+

Congrats Perry. This will be an exciting game if the two see each other in region.

Very poor performance by the Lady Dores, Letcher came out and executed how they wanted too and played very well. Congrats to them for keeping this one close. Would have to say Perry came into this one thinking they could just show up and blow people out. Definitely a wake up call for them. Region will not be this way, don't think Coach Napier was happy with his ladies in this one, would hate to be at practice.

Nope, LCC will be better prepared next time. Rankin was the difference in the first half. PCC must shoot the ball better from the outside. LCC can not afford foul trouble and must find one or two people to contribute off the bench. LCC must handle the ball better.

first thing i wanna day was rankin was the player that won the game for pcc...an im not complaining about the refs but if a player is running beside the ball handler an falls that is not a offinsive foul an everyone know what im talkin about! an if lccs big girls wouldnt of missed a couple(6) wide open layups they would of won, an if meade had a good offinsive game pcc will be goin down! cant wait till regions! GO LAD COUGARS!

Rankin can play! I agree she was the difference. With Breeding I feel we have a shot! Handled pressure well then I thought we would!

We have the worst luck in the world dealing with injuries. Last year it was Eldridge, this year it is Breeding. Girls off the bench is going to have to step it up.

I can remember when Perry had Polly Sebastian and Brittany Baker and they blew everyone out all year long and then Whitesburg gave them the scare of their life in the finals.
Letcher will be no push over.
