according to a report from the Denver Post the Rockies have talked with the Reds about a possible deal that would send Rockies Closer Houston Street to Cincinnati for Starter Edinson Volquez

Dumb! Is that they best they can get for a starter???? Closers are a dime a dozen!

^ Agreed! Street at one time was one of the best closers in baseball but he's went down, way down since then. Reds would be stupid to make that trade unless they got another starter in return

Huston Street isn't that bad of a closer, Volquez still has promise but he's not going to be in the rotation next season unless injuries start to pile on.
Big problem with this deal is Street is owed 8 million next season, Reds wants Colorado to eat that contract.
Not sure if it's gonna happen.
