I think Newport's speed and athleticsm can match Owen's passing attack. The Rebels will have to run early successfully in order to get the passing game moving like melted butter. Defensively, Owen has to keep an eye on Garland and Washington. If they can contain those 2, they'll be in good shape. I think Newport can pull off the upset, but I'm going with Owen County by a TD

Who was the coach that left Newport in the 1990's and took the Owen Co. job? I vaguely remember someone else from Newport going there after that too.

There's are the names I was trying to think of. Marty Lenhoff and Keith Carter. Marty left Owen for Lloyd and then Carter took over.
