turn out another Rex Chapman, Allan Houston, Greg Buckner, Scott Padgett type player who will make it to the top level. Just curious to hear the thoughts of those around the state. Are there any young players out there who are on this path. Not sure but I don't think O.J. Mayo was from KY. Thoughts?

Darryl Hicks from Shelby County is top 20 in the nation in his class.
He put on a show at state this past weekend for a freshman, he is the one guy with best shot.

O.J. was from Kentucky. He went to Rose Hill before transferring out of state to further high school career.
I don't know if anybody is on that level in Kentucky but Hicks is doing well. He should have a good college career somewhere and may be in pros someday.

Scotty Hopson has a legit shot at landing in the NBA in a few years and he's from Hopkinsville aka University Heights.
Darius Miller could surprise us all and become an NBA player also, you never know.

Rajon Rondo
Hopson, Miller and Mack all have good chances to play in the NBA.
Kids playing now....Chane Bennehen, Hicks, Jaylen Beckhem. All 3 of these have the potential to be 5 star players.

^^ I agree. I also think Knipp can be added to the list. If he keeps working on his body he can be Elite.

Not a lot of people know about Kristian Morgan of Gallatin County but he really started turning it on at the 8th region tournaments. This kid is really special and will be a force to be reckoned with next season. I hope there will be a match-up of him and Darryl Hicks this spring in an AAU game. Can't wait to see.

I totally agree, I think Knipp deserves to be added to the list!

I wouldn't rule out adding Tamar Manning to that list either. He's impressive to be a sophmore too. An with Billy Hicks as his coach it makes it look all the better for the him.
