Yeah, he won Mr. Football today as well.
Courier-Journal Wrote:Antonio Andrews, who led Fort Campbell High School to its third straight Class 2-A state championship earlier this month, has been named Kentuckyâs 2009 Mr. Football.
Andrews, a 6-foot, 190-pound quarterback, rushed for 29 touchdowns and passed for 28 to help the Falcons finish 15-0. They beat DeSales 29-9 in the 2-A final on Dec. 4 in Bowling Green, Ky.
The Mr. Football award is given by The Associated Press and is chosen by a statewide panel of media representatives. Other top candidates included Simon Kentonâs Miles Simpson, Lexington Christianâs Domonique Hayden and Boyle Countyâs Rees MacShara.
Andrews completed 90 of 159 passes for 1,667 yards and also rushed for 1,597 yards on 140 carries. In two seasons as a starter he won two state championships and compiled a 29-0 record. He did not play in the Falconsâ loss to Franklin-Simpson in the 2008 regular-season finale.
Andrews is the second Fort Campbell player to win the award, joining 2005 winner Micah Johnson.

Congrats to this kid. To win this award this year is impressive because his competition this year was phenomenal. This kid is a stud. I've watched him the past few years at the state championships and he gets it done. I think he could go play D1 as a slot reciever because he can make things happen when he is "in space". I thought he was a much better runner than a passer and I think his listing of 6ft. is a little generous. He'll be another in long line of quality ball players from Ft. Campbell.
If he wants to play quarterback, he would do well in a I-AA setting like Murray State, Austin Peay, or Tennessee Martin. Best of luck young man.
