I seen the same thing, and it spun me for a loop also. I think the poster is confusing Western Michigan with Western Kentucky. I checked Rivals and Scouts none of them have it posted. Nkysportsblog said no, Kywildcat also said he hasn't heard anything yet. Both have been dead on with info on this matter. More than likely you will hear it here first from one of them two. Western KY didn't offer him. As tezzy said, it was Western Michigan and that poster from another site must have gotten those two confused.

That poster read my tweet immediately after I had posted it and said Western Kentucky... I meant Western Michigan but I had been writing a report on a kid from WKU earlier in the day. Right after I sent a second tweet saying that I meant Western Michigan... They posted it a little too quickly... or didn't read my second tweet.

Oh wow.. Maybe not... He's still reporting that he has an offer from WKU.
I have confirmed with Ric that WKU has not offered and Ernst talked to Henley who did not list WKU as one of the schools who have offered.

Not sure if you have a bgp account or not, but if you know someone who does, it'd be nice if you could tell them to post that Ric DOESN'T have an offer from WKU. There are two posters on that site reporting that he does.
Possibly GT could put those rumors to bed....

lol, really the only places that seem to have accurate information are Ernst, Ricardo himself, and the people Ricardo reports his stuff to, which as far as I can tell is his coach and nkysportsblog. Unless any of those people report it, I'd just say it's someone who is very confused, which is fine. If I saw Western, I'd think of WKU as well since we live in Kentucky.

No I don't bother with that other site. It's a joke... The mods are a joke. I don't have a name over there nor do I want one.

Sounds like someone got the boot. I visit several sites, so I can get coverage from across the state, and respect the posters and mods. All have their good and bad points, but where would we be without the info they provide. I have noticed on some sites that one poster will have several accounts, guess they like their opinion.:blabbermo :biggrin:

and btw I didn't get booted from BGP. I had a subscription there for a year and didn't renew it for the exact reasons I posted.
