I had three different people from Westwood tell me that Rex Cooksey was out at Fairview and his son Derek would be taking over the varsity boys program. The official announcement would come in the Tuesday Ashland newspaper. If anyone else has heard this or has additonal information I would love to hear it. Not sure why Rex is leaving, nobody could tell me why. Would have worked out a lot better if this would have happened while Jeff Hall was still here, they could have gave Jeff the coaching position and they would have been able to keep Cameron Hall on the team as well

WLGC reprted this morning Cooksey had resigned as AD and basketball coach.
