Individual tickets for Lower Arena is $16... Upper Arena $11.
Alot of people stay at The Springs Hotel, but there is the Hyatt and the Radisson right there in downtown.
Here are some hotel listings...

Somewhere away from downtown.
Stay somewhere away from downtown so you won't pay for an overpriced hotel and then drive to the game. You might have to pay for parking, but it should be much cheaper than a hotel close to the arena.

kentuckycats07 Wrote:Can someone tell me how much it cost for tickets at the state tournament and the best place to get a room?Hotel rooms in Lexington during the State tourney are sometimes hard to find and usually pretty expensive. If you do not mind a 10min drive, Georgetown has 3 or 4 fairly new hotels that may not be inflated for State tourney patrons.
Thanks for your help.

Also, be careful when buying tickets......there will be scalpers everywhere.

There is a Holiday Inn (Holidome) right off exit 115 if I'm not mistaken. They usually have decent prices and do have a game room, indoor ball court, indoor pool, hot tub, and exercise room.
If you need assistance feel free to e-mail me at:

When our teams went to Rupp, we always stayed in the Campbell House Inn. I'm pretty sure it's expensive these days, but I'm sure that the first batch of motels when you first get into Lexington shouldn't be that expensive. Although there is a Hampton Inn there lol.

Because BlueTiger is still goin to the game and prolly don't wanna sit right beside a couple people who are just gonna bash Paintsville the entire game.

Sorry, I just now saw this post......the last time I checked Paintsville is in Johnson County and I do support them, just because I know these kids.
My children may be Eagles, but believe it or not we actually have friends across the creek, I had good friends over at PHS when I was in High School, why should that change now?

IDK why you would or wouldn't. Just takin a wild guess on why he wouldn't sell his tickets to someone who don't bleed blue.
