What goes around comes around??? Nobody in this whole thread said a word about Belfry beating anyone by 30....what are you talking about?? You might want to work on your reading comprehension skills before posting again...just a thought...once again...have some class ....Paintsville won...the coaches and players on both sides all conducted themselves with class and dignity....don't disrespect them by making stupid and classless posts such as the one you just made...

I agree! Personally I thought Belfry played a great game! Paintsville was very tight and Belfry was loose having nothing to lose. They hung with the Tigers as long as they could! May was unstoppable in that game! Paintsville just had too many weapons when they finally started loosening up! Great game by Belfry and at least Paintsville got the Expo jinx off of them!

Hoops Lover Wrote:Actually Belfry took May out BEFORE Paintsville started subbing....they then put in the other two seniors who don't play very much...taking out two more starters...anyway...what does that have to do with anything???? Other than to show once again that a few Paintsville fans with ZERO class give the rest of the Paintsville fans a bad name...this game was a battle...the score is in NO WAY indicative of what kind of game it was....Transplant...get a life...you guys won....have some class and win with dignity...
I was sitting near the Belfry bench last year when the Tigers lost in the regional. I believe that Belfry has NO room to talk about fans being rude after a victory. 2nd point.....I can see the fact that some seniors who dont get to play much need some time at the end. Were you there? THE GAME WAS NEVER CLOSE IN THE 4th QUARTER. The Belfry coach went about 10 deep for the whole game. While Paintsville played em all Freshmen too. Belfry's coach is clearly a quality coach.... however he needs to be schooled more by Coach Haywood who is without a doubt "the classiest coach in the mountains" all time.

So you quit trying to win when you are down 10-15 points????? I wasn't aware that you had to start subbing when you get down by double digits...yes I WAS there...over the past 4 years Belfry has come back and won MANY games after being down in the 4th quarter...do you think Coach Runyon would have taken his 1st group out if they had gotten down by 12-15 or so??? I doubt it!! Nor would have Coach Haywood...even though I have no idea what he has to do with a basketball thread...Clueless is the word that keeps coming to mind when I read your posts my man..sitting near the Belfry bench last year...I don't remember any fans being ON the Belfry bench last year...rude or not...if you question the class, integrity or sportsmanship of the Belfry staff you are going down the wrong path my man...just ask your coach ...or any other coach in the 15th region for that matter.

I looked at the score when the startes walked off the floor. Not 12-15 as you are insinuating. When Runyon called of the "big dogs" it was at a point he knew he couldn't lose, the point was only made that Belfry's coach should have been able to figure he couldn't gain 22 points in the last couple of minutes. I don't care, Belfry played a tremendous game and it's over. Why is this thread still going?

Paintsville pulled their starters with 1:29 left up by 22. No move was made by the Belfry staff until under :50 still down by 17. If you call that a close game ok. I may be clueless to that brilliant line of thinking.
