Rockcastle had the game well in hand against the Casey Rebels, putting in their 2nd team unit and intelligently saving starters from injury before playoff. Regardless of that, the game was decided. On Casey's senior night, a young man who had played football all through elementary, always been part of the football brotherhood scored his first varsity points in his last game action of his career. I always believe most coaches get to their position by being good men, leaders of men generally have to be good or good people won't allow them to get to that position. Rock and their boys did themselves proud in the classy category tonight (in my book). In the end as bad as we want to beat any team, or any team wants to beat us, this game is special for many reasons other than the scoreboard. Thank you to coach Larkey, Rock players, etc..for making this young fellas highlight of his career. If I were a Rock parent, I would have this as one of my kids highlights as well.
