Raceland will have new teams on the schedule. I’m not sure on the exact years, but in 25 and 26 I’ve heard Mercer Co, PRP, East Carter, Corbin, and Simon Kenton will be on the schedule in some form or fashion.

Prestonsburg was originally supposed to play Shelby Valley in the 2025 Pike Co Bowl, but Pburg was told the PCB folks made a scheduling error or something and Shelby Valley is supposed to play Mingo Central and now there's a possibility that Prestonsburg plays Pikeville.

I've not heard that one yet. I've been hearing St. X and BG. Who knows at this point?

I haven't heard this one either, but I would love to see it. I have heard that Salmons has really beefed Corbin's schedule up for next year and replaced some games with 5A-6A teams. but not heard of who other than continuing the Frederick Douglass series.

Glad to see Raceland and Pikeville keeping the regular season game alive. With RPI the way it is, Districts have become pointless. The days of “district rivalries” are almost completely gone.

B. Play Prestonsburg (with Shelby Valley playing Mingo)

D. Play Louisville Central

Who knows what is actually going to happen?

Yes.

This is 3A district 8 and they will be cross districting in the playoffs with district 7 which is Bell County’s district.
