I'd like to mention a young man on the upswing.... Vanhoose from Paintsville. He had 22 and 11 rebounds against LCHS Friday. He scored 3 points total in Paintsville's 104 point route of Betsy Lane and he's year end, year out ,a major factor for that team each and every night.

Not really! Alot of teams have already played district opponents. Some even have played two or more this early into the season. If your hot early and you knock out alot of district wins early then your district ranking will be that much better. In the 57th especially, that #1 seed really helps in pairings and maybe equal a bye.
