Best player in the 58th? Well if you look at his stats last night u see 33 pts and 6 3's, yeah looks good. but were you at the game? he shot his arm off and had plenty of turnovers. Its easy to hit 6 3's when you shoot 30. The truth is, SF is horrible so Akers shoots almost every trip down the floor. He is not even close to the best player in the district. Jordan Hall and Aaron Crum are putting up better 3 point shot numbers plus more points, and they are shooting half the shots Akers is.

Akers is averaging 20+ppg with about 4 3's per game...He had 28(6 3's) against KCC friday and 33(6 3's) last night. He only had 3 TO's last night also. There is alot of Players hot in the district right now including crum, hall, and lets not forgot hammonds(the rebels dont do nothing without him). Back to Akers, in the last 2 games he has 36 shot att., making over 50% of those, he is also shooting over 50% from behind the 3pt. arc(12/23)

There was no way he was shooting 50% last night.....he was jacking up shots that shouldnt have been taken.....and from the way it looked..he had way more t/o than 3...powell had at least 7 steals within the first 4 minutes of the game

I kno for a fact he is shooting 50% or better in the last two games, FG's and 3's. I dont think Powell stole it from him 7 times:dontthink.Oh he is also shooting 90% or better from the FT Line.

I watched him play at letcher central in the Tip Off Classic and he was pulling up from the volleyball line with a player in his face and jacking em up...not to mention he air balled all of those he attempted...he does shoot his arm off...theres not team unity on this team..who cares if he scores 30, his team hasnt even come close to winning a game yet
