Belfry blows a 22 point lead in 1st half and then comes back in the 4th to force OT. WIDEOPEN layup put belfry up 95-93 with .5 to go. LC throws the ball length of floor and gets a look. Gets hammered on the shot but no foul called. Belfry wins 95-93.

Bad officiating all the way around tonight. Fouls being called when they shouldn't. No fouls called when there should have been. Out of bounds calls the wrong way and then the clobbering at the final buzzer that wasn't called. Could have put it into another OT.

Hard to officiate Belfry.

You can call a foul on them ever trip down the floor and it has been addressed by officials association.

I didn't get to watch tonight but I would almost garuntee that Tyrone was calling the game. If you walk in the gym at Belfry and he is calling it is going to be rugby game.

Looks like the above poster's are disappointed that Belfry came away with the W. I thought LC was supposed to dominate the District?

Lawrence County played with starter Robert Dalton who was sick. Belfry got off to a great start leading 27-8 at the end of the first quarter. The Bulldogs responded with a 29 point second quarter effort to be down 6 at halftime. This was an exciting game to watch. There was some big plays, big shots, and both teams played with a lot of heart and passion.

I believe that scully is a pirate fan. Lc will be fine fighting through some illness and injuries, timmy leaving the team has hurt them but he has posted he will be back soon. Dont know if there is any truth to it or not. Belfry Is always tuff in every sport. There are some big physical young men on pond creek. Nice win belfry.

lack of coaching on both sides actually. Neither coach ran an offensive set and obviously didn't do much defensively to generate that high of a score even if it went to OT.

Will say this as well, I don't know a thing about LC's coach but if he allows Timmy Dalton to return after the way he has talked about him, especially on twitter, he is spineless.

And that's the sad thing is it should be understood by the AD/Principal that thing sort of thing can't be allowed to go on, the coach shouldn't be under scrutiny considering whats happened.

Yes I am a Belfry fan. Haven't been able to keep up with basketball like I wanted due to work. I went to see the Dalton boys play but didn't know they were out. All and all it was good game for both teams. I'm glad belfry won but calls were bad for both sides. Anyone that was there, even belfry fans should agree that there should have been a foul call on the last play in OT. The LC kid got hammered and went to the floor hard. LC showed great determination by coming back from 22 points down in the 2nd quarter. Then Belfry made a little run in the 4th to force the OT. Idk how many points Adam Dillon for belfry had but he had a good game. He's the one that hit the game winning lay up in OT.
