How strong is the 12th region?
#1
Wayne finished last year ranked 6th in state. Everyone back. Nothing more needs to be said.

Lincoln finished ranked 9th. Everybody back. Nothing more needs to be said.

Boyle finished in top 25. Everybody back plus received big transfer Jeremiah Bell. Pair him with top 10 player (class of 15) Tyler and top 10 player (class of 16) Elkins and they may be a top 10 team now.

Southwest finished top 20. Lost one player and picked up TWO material transfers. Definitely still top 20. Deep, deep team.

Mercer - just read where Malik Dow has been ruled eligible. He along with Wil Hager give them two top 10 (class of 16) players. Pair that with top 10 (class of 18) player Tre Faulconer and new coach Josh Cook, who I think most of us know, and you now have a potential for 5 top 20 teams in that region.

Having followed this region for years, the talent level in the 12th has never been Ike this. They have to be in the top 3 regions this year.

Wayne will be a top 10 team

Agreed. How would they not be. They were 6th last year and Lincoln was 9th - two top 10 teams and both have everyone back. Then Boyle, Southwest and likely Mercer will all be top 25 - at least at some point in the season.

Wayne County and Southwestern are both top 10 teams in the state. IMO.
