no disrespect to Owen County, but I think Newport could get them. Newport's speed, aggression, and athleticism on defense could give Owen's passing attack fits. The only thing that could really hurt Newport in that game will be their discipline, just like it cost them against Lloyd.

I'm with you that Newport certainly could pose a threat to OC. I don't think they will win, but I do think the Wildcats athleticism is enough of a threat that if Owen overlooks them and makes silly mistakes, Newport could pull this out.

i don't think Newport will win either, but there's a serious threat for an upset. This is the same Newport team that was only down 7 against NCC at halftime.

Would Shelby Valley losing to LCA, Middlesboro losing to Leslie County or Danville losing to Prestonsburg be considered upsets? I know in the first two that LCA and Leslie County are the higher seed and should be considered the favorite. And Danville has been ranked higher than Prestonsburg all year.

I agree with both statements. The Mboro/Leslie game could be the best chance of an upset in those matchups.

If UPSET is defined as HOME team losing
then I project the following just based on ratings

Danville 82% probability of victory
Butler 48%
Middlesboro 37%
DeSales 36%
Crittenden 27%
Lloyd 25%

and for Rebel Fans Newport=8% but I agree with above comments
