Will there be a confidence issue if Gilchrist has to come off the bench? Lamb did it so well last season, is there any chance that Cal starts Gilly plays him for about 6-7 minutes and puts Lamb in for the rest or something like that.

Many times freshmen have confidence issues especially these McDonald's boys. Reading up on Gilly and hearing about his personality tells me it wont be a problem, but it is something to consider with these kids.

SG- Lamb/Gilchrist I think the starter for this position will change throughout the season
SF- Miller (unfortunately) I hope he loses the starting pos sometime this season!!
PF- Jones
C- Davis

Bench- Lamb/Gilchrist
Wiltjer
Vargas If he plays bad he wont be in this roation move jones/wiltjer to the 5
Beckham (next semester)

I'd rather see Lamb in the starting line-up just because I think that's where he wants to be. If he does indeed want to come off the bench - I say let him come off the bench. He brought great energy and man he really got the hype going just coming off the bench and knocking down BIG shots.

IMO this is what it will look like.

PG - Teague
SG - Lamb
SF - Miller
PF - Jones
C - Davis

Ghilcrist and Wiltjer will be coming in and out for Miller and Jones.. While Vargas will probably give Davis a few good breathers every now and then.

Sorry I dont suck Millers D**k just because he is from Kentucky like you do!!... I want to see the kid do good but face the facts he sucks and has been the weak link on the team for the past two yrs.. He is a senior (wich is the only reason he will start) and he cant even fulfill the leadership role, thats why Cal ask Jones to step up and be the leader.. all and all he is a joke!!

Just because Lamb came of the bench last year doesnt mean he will this year. Lamb will start and IMO be the best player on this team.

Lamb will start. IMO Jones is the best offensive player on the team and Davis best overall.

I like Gilchrist coming off the bench so he can give a defensive spurt, ala, Liggins.

Poole will give the Cats some good minutes this year.
