OUCH 3 ina row! Well it is true what they say "Basketball is a game of spurts". Don't let it get your head down Eagles. Just put it behind you and get ready for the next one. Seems like alot of teams in the 15th have been hitting these little spurts here and there. Congrats to PCC! Just makes things more interesting for the tourneys. Good Luck next game JC!

I'll make a prediction that they dont get out of the district tourney

Great win for Perry Central. They had a balanced attack with 4 Commodores scoring in double digits. This game was totally dominated by Perry Central from the start until late in the 4th quarter. Anytime you can go on the road in the 15th and get a double digit victory it is an accomplishment.

The only JC player that came to play tonight was Jamie McCarty.
I think he had somewhere around 27 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal.
Made great decisions in taking the ball to the hole...when he does...he's dangerous.
Kyle Rice and Ryan Fannin seemed like they didn't even step out of the court.
Congrats PCC.

This is a poor showing for the 15th.

PCC Is A Very Well Coached, Disciplined Team. They Play Hard And Shoot The Ball Very Well. Seems Coach Holland Has The "Dores" Peaking At The Right Time. Congrats. :CE_DP_Ste Confusedalute:

JC has to many people worried about who is going to score and get there 20 pts a game. Its terrible, as long as this goes on they will always lose. There are only a few kids that play defense on this team, i've never seen anything like it was last night. Kids were yelling at each other on there own team.

I agree bill tom! Too many people worried about scoring and not playing team ball. We need to get Kyle involved in the offense again. When we were playing good he was touching the ball almost every time down the floor. If these kids would realize that ball movement will usually find an open shot. We just jack it up after the first pass or drive to the goal with four on us. We just need to get back to team ball.

I believe Kyle touched the rock against PCC 8 times...scoring only once or twice.
When something doesn't work in a game...don't do it....and he didn't finished when he did get a pass...He did score by McCarty driving in the lane and drawing defenders....He made a dump pass to Rice who happened to score 2 of his 4 points.

Rice didn't play much in the game because of little to no effort on the defensive end and in rebounding the basketball. When any player does this he will sit under Starnes and I'm glad of it. There a few of the players trying to be this years version of Tony Hatfield and there where the problems lies. I would love to see Kyle get back to the same intensity he had leading up to and during the Paintsville game. There's others who need to pick up there play as well. Jesse Meek has went from Mr. Hustle to Mr. Turnover. He had six turnovers at one point is the first half against PCC and there's no excuse for it. Murray's the same way. At the first of the year he provided a spark for the team when he was inserted into the lineup but as of late he has provided nothing but turnovers and bad shots. He had a dozen turnovers and numerous forced shots in the JV game and probably five or six to's in the varsity game. Fannin needs to pick up his game as well. He has to start rebounding the way he was two weeks ago. We are giving up way to many rebounds here of late and there's no excuse for it.
The reason we've lost three in a row is because of lack of heart, no pride in there school, and pure selfishness. You've got to have heart to play hard nosed defense and to rebound but here lately Johnson Central has showed very little in the heart department.
Come on boys pick it up! Go Eagles!

you failed to mention the other players that play as if there is only 4 players that do anything wrong everyone that has played in the past 3 games have sucked....no exception! There has been no-one step up off the bench either so if you want to talk, talk about the entire team not individuals.

Your correct bub the whole team has stunk it up the past three games but in my opinion the four that I've mentioned is the one's who've slacked off the most.
