I have not been around as long as many of you but it seems to me that there is a great deal of Head Coach turnover this year. Rivals has ranked Kentucky in the 4th tier at #31 of 50 states in the country. What if any effect does all the turnover have on Kentucky's rankings and more importantly does it effect our kids ability to get recruited? The coach can play a big role in getting his kids noticed.
Well, I'm no expert, but I'll give you my opinion.....
I think there has been an increase in the turnovers of head coaches this year at the high school level in Kentucky. Not only that, but the coaches who are relocating are high profile people, so it also appears to be more in number.
As far as effecting the rankins and the recruiting, IMHO it would HAVE to. It may get back to a more normal appearance in a year or two, but I would think that both would be negatively impacted.
