Final from the Smoky Mountain Classic in Gatlinburg.
I was at the game and SV compeated well for the first 3 quarters. Beech was up at halftime by 8 points. There first 8 players for the Beech team where 6' 3 or taller. they had a couple 6'5 and taller. There guards where at least 3 to 5 inches taller than ours. Tough match up for SV and would have been a miss match for any team from the 15th region. That team was from one of the toughest regions in the State of Tennessee. The experience of being able to play teams as good as this one will only help SV in the future. Don't be misled by the score.

Rough game but hopefully the Valley kids can get a little experience and draw from it in the region games.

I'd like to see how Greenup would match up against a team their own size.
