Owensboro Catholic sophomore Becca Greenwell is off to a big start.

The 6-foot-1 Greenwell, who is considered one of the top prospects nationally in the Class of 2013, already has three games of 40 points or more this season.

Greenwell is averaging 33.4 points, 12.6 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 5.2 steals a game through five games for the Lady Aces.

Greenwell scored 40 points against Whitesville Trinity and Owensboro and netted 41 points on 16 of 32 from the field against Apollo.

The Lady Aces open the Republic Bank Holiday Classic at Lexington Catholic on Saturday against Christian Academy.

She is so special. Many like her do not come along often. She came to Rockcastle, and (I think, but am not 100% sure) gave Hammond a good game in a scrimmage.

Knowing coach Noble, she probably let her have hers, but still, she has to score them. Great talent.
