Hoot gave me the idea of using my laptop for travel/wireless and a desktop for my home office.

My question now is: What is the best Desktop to buy?

I do not play many games. No Halo, CoD or anything like that. I like Youtube videos, etc... but nothing really graphics intense. I would CERTAINLY want Windows 7 with the latest office software, etc...

The most important feature would be the office software and storage space.

If a desktop was able to have wifi that would be cool because I can borrow, (and I mean borrow because the neighbor doesn't care) wireless internet. The place that the desktop would sit is in a wifi hotspot. I have a WLAN 802.11g USB adapter that I use with the laptop just because it is faster, will those work with desktops?

My range will probably max out at $600 (tax included). I would be willing to go as high as $800 (tax included) if my wifi adapter work or if it is wifi-accessible AND I get all the newest office features.

Thanks in advance for the help.
