The Phone message said closed due to road conditions....up in the hollars the roads are pretty bad....Snow doesn't melt very well where the sun don't shine!...lol...besides that...it is extremly cold!...they will call school off if the temp is too low.

Can't speak for everybody though!

Pretty much all the roads I have traveled are fine and that includes secondary roads.

Tell me about it. I ussually have snow in my yard for about 2 weeks after everyone else's has disappeared...lol!

there still pretty bad here in martin county but their still having school tomorrow.

I disagree even though it doesn't affect me. If i was a parent my kid would not be getting on a bus.

I would just take mine myself. I live pretty close to Tomahawk and I guess I can see why with all the single lane roads.

Yep, Tomahawk in Martin Co. I'm on the Paintsville side of 2 Mile Hill at Meally.

My holler road is still covered with snow & ice.

It still gonna be cold tomorrow. But, hopefully the sunshine will get to a lot of the roads.

I agree!...Drop them off yourself if you think the roads are not good for bus travel!...I worry about this weather...starting out pretty bad already...wander how long it will last?....might be in for a long winter!

Knott Co. closed, go figure.
Wouldn't be surprised if they are out for the rest of the week.
