The brackets for the Lexington Catholic Republic Bank Classic Holiday Tournament went up on the school website this morning. Hereâs the link:

At the page, click on the 2010 bracket (under the headline) and then open the spreadsheet. It is a multi-page spreadsheet and opens to the loserâs bracket, which has no team names now. On the bottom of the page click on the âWinners Bracketâ tab to see the field for this tournament, which runs 5 days 12/26 thru 12/30 (Sun.-Thur.). Losers move down to the old gym and continue playing, so everyone plays at least twice. At the request of participants, this yearâs hospitality room for coaches and players will feature more âhome cookinâ.â
This tourney wraps up a great December for hs bball in Lexington, each week has a major event. The other events: 1st weekend = Mr. Basketball Classic @ Tates Creek Fri-Sat 3rd-4th, 2nd weekend = Racing to the Rim event at Rupp Arena Sunday 12th early morn till late night, and 3rd weekend = Fayette Co. Invitational using all 5 public high school gyms, actually starts Saturday 18th and completes Mon., Tue., Wed. following. I have the links to all these if anyone wants them.
