Simon Kenton trailed 20-6 at halftime but outscored visiting Boone County 42-7 in the second half to earn the come-from-behind win and lock up a Class 6A playoff spot.


“We never could get in a groove offensively,” said Simon Kenton coach Jeff Marksberry. “They controlled the ball and the line of scrimmage in the first half.”
