Coach Davis had his team ready to play Saturday and that was evident of the score against Hazard. They shot the ball extremely well from outside the 3-pt. line and played good defense. We played much better against you than Hazard which that may be attributed to the fact that we have competed so many times. We always enjoy playing you guys. You demonstrate excellent coaching strategies and good sportsmanship.
Elkhorn City 47-42 over Hazard which was the first game of the day.

Thanks for the compliments Coach. We enjoy playing against you and your team. We couldn't stop the penetration of your guards. Maybe we can hook up again before the season starts.

As far as Hazard, we'll see a different team once they get all their players out and get a few practices under their belt. Happy's teams are always tough.
