No they have not played Ashland (at least not in the last 10 years.) They usually play one Kentucky team each year. Last year was Greenup, and they have also played Lawrence County and Fairview in the past.
I think GC is physical enough to handle Coal Grove. Let's see if the Ohio school still has the football advantage this week........

Boy for a Carolina boy you sure know alot about football in the northeastern Kentucky area. You must get around.
Dawson Bryant is a Division V school in Ohio. It's equivilant to Ky Division 2A. I'd think that GC would run all over them.
